The Lion’s Song Is an episodic point and click adventure game where you play as Wilma, a young composer searching for inspiration. In Episode 1: Silence, Wilma escapes the pressures that come with success by seeking the solitude of the Austrian Alps to complete her new composition. Unfortunately, a harsh storm makes it impossible for her to concentrate. Wilma learns to embrace the storm and with help from her friend Leos and can compose again.
That’s just Episode One, the first of four announced episodes and it’s currently FREE to download on Steam. Episode Two doesn’t have a release date but promises to introduce a new male protagonist. Developer Mi’Pu’Mi Games has stated that the choices you make in episode one will have a direct impact on the storylines of all episodes and ultimately determine if the protagonists find success.
The Lion Song has a unique art style. It features the pixelated art of early 90s point and click adventures like The Secret of Monkey Island although the sepia colours set the game apart from the competition.
