Here’s something I don’t think anyone was expecting. Having gone through an entire campaign to rid the neighbourhood of parties, Party Hard developers Pinokl Games has a new task for you … create some more!
Party Hard Tycoon introduces the other side of the scene, where the ultimate goal is to create the best kind of party imaginable. Using the same engine as its predecessor, you’re now managing and building your own scene to try and bring in as much money from avid dancers and party goers as possible.
There’s not too much more to go on at this stage, but it looks as though there will be missions of a sort, themed levels where the aim will be to reach a certain dancer or cash goal. You can place just about everything you need around the rooms, from DJ booths to speakers and the usual party fare.
So far it’s only in development on PC, but that makes sense given the drag and drop controls on show in the trailer. There’s no sign of the ‘hero’ from the original game either, I can’t imagine what he thinks of all this, but you can be sure there will be another killer soundtrack to go along with the more casual simulation experience.
It’s not entirely clear if this will be released on its own or as DLC for Party Hard. It’s also not known whether the user made content will be brought across to Party Hard itself, so you can shut down and wreck havoc on your own creations. Party Hard Tycoon is currently going through a closed alpha, so we’ll have more on the game as soon as we get our hands on it.
