If you like your games difficult, your platforming deadly or your titles with two + symbols in them, then do I have some good news for you, dear gamer.
N++, the supposed finale to the platform series that appeared on PS4 last year, is set to release on PC this week. Known for its challenging yet addictive content and lots of exploding stick figures, the momentum-based platformer has had a strong following since its debut back in 2004, with this most recent addition bringing with it the richest set of options to date.
There’s over 2000 new levels to play, most of which can be played solo or with up to three other players, as well as a level editor to create your own cunning attempts at driving your friends (and strangers) crazy. There’s no direct indication on exclusives for the PC release compared to its console counterpart, it seems like a direct port of its PS4 edition from 2015, though the price is a little lower on Steam compared to the PlayStation store (though always check your exchange rate).
N++ will be available via Steam from August 25th. From personal experience, it’s a great party experience with friends more so than a solo challenging Mario platformer, but there’s a butt ton of content for your money.
