If you are lucky enough to be in Perth this weekend and also an avid fan of comics, then you may want to check out the 24-hour comic challenge. Each year 24HCDPerth hosts a challenge where artists and comic creators a given a theme then try to create a page an hour to complete their full 24-page comic book. This year’s theme is E for Everything.

All levels of skill and experience are welcome so if you have ever wanted to create a comic but lacked the motivation let 24HCD set you a fun, yet challenging deadline.

The event takes place across two days – the 8th and 9th of October beginning 10 am each day. It’s held at the ALVA Hub at the UWA Nedlands Campus. Best of all it’s free!

Registration is essential so follow this link to the official site where you can sign up. Don’t forget your sleeping bag.
