The Australian Game Developer Awards are an annual celebration of the home grown talent that makes up the Australian game development industry. This year there will be eight awards presented with the nominees covering a broad spectrum of genres and gaming systems, some which have been featured and reviewed here on PN2.

The nominees for the big one, ‘Game of the Year’ are: Witch Beam’s Assault Android Cactus, Yak and Co’s Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and Tin Man Games’ The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. The award night is held in conjunction with the Game Connect Asia Pacific conference that takes place on November 2nd at 7pm at the Meat Market in North Melbourne. Tickets are available from the GCAP site.
