With less than 24 hours remaining, Australia’s most inclusive games convention reached its funding goal meaning the convention will return for 2017. Close call!

Several substantial late contributions got the Kickstarter campaign across the funding line, and the campaign is well on its way to reaching the first stretch goal that adds food trucks to the venue.

GX is a convention that promotes diversity amongst attendees and features video games, board games, tabletop and card games, cosplayers and comic books — everything geeky and nerdy! GX will host many well-known game developers and media personalities discussing hot topics on panels across the weekend. There will also be no shortage of games to play.

GX will return for its second year 29-30th April at the Sydney Showground. The Kickstarter campaign is still live for another 15 hours where you can score a ticket for the early bird price of $50. Each ticket includes a selection of 3 games from local developers. You can find the campaign here.
