Heading to Melbourne for International Games Week or already there? If so, you may want to get involved with Wayfinder Live, a street game for your smartphone that explores Melbourne’s laneways while three factions are battling to take ownership of the city.
Wayfinder Live is a free augmented reality game playable via a mobile phone app. Choose a faction and look for site-specific animations and sounds to locate sixteen urban codes hidden throughout the city. Collect tokens for discovering the codes and influence the outcome of Melbourne. Will you revert, renew or remake the city?
Wayfinder Live is available for iOS and Android and runs throughout Melbourne International Games Week which kicks off today and closes out 7th November.
