Toy designer and merchandiser ESC-Toy has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund its first ever board game TRBO: The Rival bikers Overdrive. TRBO is a fast and frantic board game of wild bikers participating in a race with no rules and loads of chaos.

Each player takes control of a unique Biker Club and the corresponding miniatures as they race towards victory attacking opponents along the way. TRBO is inspired by kart racers of the 16-bit era, but I can see some Road Rash influences as well.

Each biker has a different attack and health values based on their size, but all bikes are capable of moving at the same speed. It is up to the player to decide what the best strategy is for each member of their Club. Players move by rolling three custom movement dice. They can attribute any of the rolled results to any of their bikers.

Players win by having the last Club riding. This can be done in one of two ways, by either wrecking all of their competitors’ bikes through blasting, bashing, and playing dirty tricks, or out-pacing their opponents, leaving no competitors on the track.

TRBO just launched on Kickstarter where ESC-Toy is seeking $55,000 to fund the game. You can still grab a copy for the early bird price of $44. The campaign will be successful if funded by 14th December 2016. You can find the campaign here.

ESC-Toy has a long history of creating merch for video game franchises such as Uncharted, Bloodborne, Hatoful Boyfriend, Don’t Starve and Hotline Miami. You can find their website here.
