Shakedown: Hawaii is the sequel/spiritual successor to 2012’s 8-bit shoot em up Retro City Rampage. Developer Vblank has doubled the graphic fidelity to a whopping 16-bit. It’s a true ‘next gen’ game.
Like RCR, Shakedown: Hawaii is a homage and parody of classic 80s and 90s franchises. The gameplay looks like an early Grand Theft Auto crossed with Metal Gear.
A teaser trailer hit the web earlier today, and from the footage, Shakedown: Hawaii looks like another winner for Vblank.
Shakedown: Hawaii will be playable at PSX 2016 this weekend. The final game is set for PC, PS4. PS Vita and 3DS
