Here’s something to be incredibly proud of. Firewatch, one of game of the year nominees for 2016, officially passed the 1 million download mark towards the tail end of last year.
The news comes directly from creators Campo Santo, who tool to Twitter a few days ago to quickly celebrate the milestone. There’s no specific mention of how well the game went across its available platforms, though we’d hazard a guess and say a majority of its sales came through Steam. No surprises there.
So congratulations to the Campo Santo team on a job well done! Maybe soon, we will see what they have up their sleeves next…
Sometime late last year we sold our one millionth copy of Firewatch. Thank you all so much! pic.twitter.com/7LSTqWuU8Q
